Research Interests

My interests and passion has resided in invasion ecology and biosecurity of islands. Most recent research in the works has been looking at DNA based arthropod monitoring for better detection strategies on the island of Guam. I find myself in pursuit for applied science.

Current Projects

NSF: Biodiversity Dynamics: Linking Broad Scale Remote Sensing with Arthropod Metabarcoding Across a Geological Age Gradient in the Hawaiian Islands

SERDP: Next Generation Biosecurity Monitoring of Invasive Alien Arthropod Species
